Other Recycling Services

Ealing offers additional recycling options separate from main bins. These are usually collected separately or in designated bags.

  • Textiles and clothes
  • Batteries
  • Small electrical items

Property Variations

Some flats, estates and “red-route” properties do not use individual wheelie bins. They may have communal bins, clear sacks, or different coloured containers. Collection frequency can vary depending on building type.

Bank Holiday Collections

After a Bank Holiday, collections often move to the next working day. Residents should check for changes before putting bins out.

General Tips

  • 7am Start: Bins should be placed at your property boundary by 7am.
  • Close Lids: Lids must be fully closed or the crew may refuse the bin.
  • No Extra Bags: Extra rubbish bags placed beside the black bin will not be collected.
